Handy and Hines, Episode 3: Turning Pascal Siakam into an NBA Champion and First-Time All-Star

Over the past year, Pascal Siakam became an NBA champion, the league’s Most Improved Player and a first-time All-Star in February. To get there, the Cameroon native worked closely with Phil Handy, who was on the Toronto Raptors’ coaching staff in 2018-19, and Rico Hines, who has worked with Pascal on his skills during summer sessions at UCLA.

In Episode 3 of our "Real Talk" series, Phil, now an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Lakers, and Rico, a player development coach for the Sacramento Kings, share their experiences training Pascal, who has become one of the NBA's brightest young stars.
